Two fun (and tasty!) recipes our Short Chefs will build step-by-step during their culinary adventure.

Island Salad with Strawberry Dressing “In a Swimming Pool”

Ingredients

Mixed Green Salad (spinach, baby greens)
Berry tomatoes (sliced in half)
Shredded carrots
Hearts of palm
Mandarin oranges
Baby corn
Garbanzo beans or black beans

Dressing

Extra virgin olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Honey
Fresh sliced strawberries

Instructions

Place all ingredients in a large salad bowl or platter. Start with greens, then layer each item.
In a second bowl, add all dressing ingredients, mix well, and toss.
Drizzle dressing over your summer salad and enjoy!

Healthy Pasta Salad Berry Berry Dressing

Ingredients

Tri-colored pasta
Berry tomatoes (sliced in half)
Florets of broccoli and cauliflower
Chilled asparagus (cut small)
Black or garbanzo beans
Yellow squash & zucchini (cut in cubes)
Cucumber wheels
Frozen or fresh chilled peas
1 carton strawberries
4 mangos (cleaned and cubed)

Berry Berry Dressing

1 cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup honey
Fresh strawberries (cut in half)
Fresh blueberries

Instructions

Cook pasta as directed, drain, and toss with ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil. Chill for 1 hour.
Place all ingredients in a large salad bowl or platter. Start with pasta, then layer each item.
In a second bowl, mix all dressing ingredients well, then add sliced strawberries and toss.
Drizzle dressing over your pasta bowl and enjoy!

The Color Bubble will be running our Arts & Crafts section where their team will lead our guests in creating a custom canvas that fits the theme of the event. This is free for all to attend and enjoy.

Pickleball Open-Play Courts 🏓

Get ready to serve up some fun at our event with three pickleball open-play courts available for guests to enjoy in the first floor garage area.

✅ 3 Open-Play Courts 🏓 Paddles & balls provided 🎓 Instructor onsite 👧 Kids class (5–16)

Balls and paddles will be provided, so all you need to bring is your energy. Whether you’re brand new to the game or already a fan, a pickleball instructor will be onsite throughout the event to offer tips, lessons, and guidance for beginners.

This activation is part of our excitement surrounding the new pickleball courts coming to Frost Park, currently under construction. We’re thrilled to give the community a sneak peek and invite everyone to experience why pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

Kids Class with Karyna: Free instructional class for children ages 5 to 16. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Rackets and balls will be provided — spots are expected to fill quickly.
